About the artist

A self-taught artist from New Liskeard, Charlotte Lavictoire has always lived surrounded by nature in Northern Ontario, and this is what inspires the vast majority of her work.

She designs, sculpts and paints her designs on various media, including decorative ceramic tiles. She has also been invited to participate in many murals in the Ottawa region and in northeastern Ontario. Pottery is another opportunity for Charlotte to sculpt, transform and paint her creations.

As a retired teacher, she now enjoys teaching seniors and children basic clay working skills. She recently discovered she loved painting bison skulls from the Bison du Nord farm – another beautiful way to express her creativity!
